The environment has become essential in business decisions.

Quebec companies want to change their ways to become eco-responsible, but do not always know where to start. There are various actions that can be implemented to reduce its environmental footprint, increase its efficiency while reducing costs. Depending on the current situation and the type of business, it is necessary to target the activities that will have the greatest positive impact on the environment.

In order to help businesses improve their eco-friendly practices, the "Fonds Écoleader" was launched in the fall of 2019. Initiated by the Québec government, this program offers businesses the opportunity to undertake or pursue their eco-responsible initiatives by giving access to to very interesting subsidies. The envelope totaling $ 18.5M wants to reach not less than 50 000 companies by 2022 to help them implement various eco-responsible practices and clean technologies including the improvement of waste management.

Maximum financial assistance of $ 10,000, covering 50% of eligible expenses, is possible, for a maximum of $ 30,000.
